We awoke to another beautiful, hot sunny day. After a 7:00 breakfast, and a few songs of worship, we got to work. The compound was buzzing as about 30 people got busy on many different projects, all wanting to do our part in helping the beautiful Hatian people we are falling in love with and supporting Mission Possible which we have really come to respect and appreciate for what they are doing in Haiti. Some of our guys poured concrete for the footing of the guard house (Darryl,Chris, Phil), some did electrical work at the new library being built for the Bible Shcool at the compound (Eldon, Adam), Steve worked with plumbing, Jared, Aimee and Stan made window screens, and Alyssa, Sheila, Christy, and Jolene did a bunch of organizing, worked on a tree planting project, & took inventory of medical supplies. Andrew and Juanita continued their faithful preparation of meals in the kitchen. After supper we relaxed and also enjoyed singing and testimonies under the Cabana. I think a bunch of us will retire early after a hard day of work. We pray that our friends and family back home are doing well and that you too will be blessed for the part you have in this.
Keep the pictures coming! I would love to be there with you and it feels like I should be. Can't wait to hear all the stories when you get back!!
